I am a Special Education Teacher/Unit Coordinator with the Department of Education of a major city. I am responsible for the most diverse and gifted students in the city. In addition to ensuring that my students receive the best education possible, I also oversee curriculum development and implementation while facilitating professional development workshops, conducting informal teacher observations and interactions with district and community based organizations. One of the highlights of my career was successfully creating and implementing a school wide multicultural program.
I graduated from Lincoln University with a Bachelor of Science in Secondary Education/History. I also have a Master of Science in Guidance and Counseling and an Advanced Certificate in Educational Administration from Long Island University.
I am married to my best friend. We have been together since I was eighteen and have a beautiful daughter.
